54th annual Duluth festival of art + community
Park Point Art Fair returns June 27 & 28, 2026, to Lake Superior shores
DULUTH, Minn.— What’s better than a summer visit to an iconic Lake Superior beach community? Doing it while perusing original artwork in the fresh northern air. The region’s premiere outdoor visual arts showcase returns from 10 am to 5 pm on June 27 and 28, 2026, to Minnesota’s favorite sandbar. The 54th annual Park Point Art Fair (PPAF) offers free admission and parking at the Park Point Recreation Area in Duluth.
Held rain or shine, PPAF is an annual rite of summer for lovers of creativity, culture, and incredible parks. The weekend event, which draws an estimated 10,000 visitors, offers the chance to meet 115 juried artists who are showing and selling fine art and crafts. Plus, visitors enjoy free live music, good eats, art-making magic, and more—all in a stunning, big-lake setting that welcomes one and all.
Highlights:
• 115 jury-selected visual artists from the upper Midwest and beyond. Artists display and sell work in media such as ceramics, glass, jewelry, painting, photography, fiber, woodwork, and sculpture, with $1,000+ in recognition prizes for top artists. Visitors get to meet fine artists and often “take home a story” along with an original art purchase that supports small business.
• NEW: expanded live music under the big tent, presented by The North 103.3 FM and PBS North, featuring Misisipi Mike Wolf, Christopher David Hanson, Russ Sackett, and Woodblind on Saturday; Water Cat, Father Hennepin, St. Paul Mudsteppers, and The Erik Koskinen Band on Sunday.
• Food trucks (American, Vietnamese, eclectic, and more) and tasting tents
• Artist demonstrations
• Family art activity area
• Free parking and accessible paths

Located in a Duluth park that’s a prime access point for Lake Superior and the Superior Bay, visitors can drive, bus, bike, or boat to the “end of the Point” for a festive good time. Some people even arrive by plane at Sky Harbor Airport, which abuts the park. The PPAF is presented by volunteers of the Park Point Community Club (PPCC), a nonprofit supporting ecology, culture, civic engagement, and more on Minnesota Point and the greater Twin Ports.
Programming is provided by the PPCC, with support in 2026 from Solglimt Lakeshore Bed & Breakfast, PBS North, The North 103.3 FM, Visit Duluth, The Reader, North Shore Federal Credit Union, Forging Community, and Michael Schuetze Design.
“Since 1970, visitors, artists, and volunteers have come together in a truly unique setting on the
shores of Lake Superior for the Park Point Art Fair,” said Carla Tamburro, the PPAF coordinator and a Park Point resident of 20 years. “Artists and patrons of the arts praise the high quality and accessibility of this show, and appreciate that it’s a grass-roots effort that reinvests so much into our local community and environment.”
